I never realised that by transforming my business, I would transform myself in the process. I’ll be honest, my first client approached me. As did my second and third. Two years on and my client base is still largely referral based and that is something I’m incredibly proud of. But because of that, I felt a little like a business owner fraud! I wasn’t struggling with marketing or niching or any of those things. The wheels were turning on their own. And as much as I loved the work, it felt a little uninspiring. Then someone mentioned that I was a great communicator and they loved how I handled a certain situation with a client and this got me thinking…. Yes! I am a great communicator! And not only am I good at it, but I ENJOY it too! That was the start of Your Virtual Asset transitioning to specialising in client care.
I know every business coach and mentor tells you to NICHE NICHE NICHE because of marketing but let me tell you the other positive… by doing what you truly love for those you truly love working with will give you a whole new lease on life! The excitement and enthusiasm, not mention confidence that I am going into this next chapter with simply can’t be measured. And my clients can tell. They can sense my enthusiasm in every email and hear it in each phone call. I once had a client hunt me down after coming across me in a Facebook Group as they not only appreciated what I had contributed to a certain conversation, but they loved the passion and positivity that “radiated” from my comments! I mean, really, is there any better compliment than that! Can your clients feel that you love your business? Is your excitement contagious when they make a purchase?
You get back what you put out in the world and positivity is the best example of this!
