What Is A Virtual Asset?

What Is A Virtual Asset?

Virtual [vur-choo-uh l]: temporarily simulated or extended by computer software

Asset [as-et]: a useful and desirable thing or quality

Business is all about making money and to make money, you need assets… And good ones at that!  Assets are key to a successful business, and YOU are the most important asset you have! But if you are spending all your time behind the scenes of your business, how can you show your clients what an asset you are for them?
If only there was someone that you could delegate those fiddly, time consuming duties to…  If only there was someone to run their eyes over your latest blog post and find some images to attach to it (you hate that bit!)… If only there was someone to check your back links, your plug ins, your newsletter, your social media, your calender…. Oh! The list could go on forever!

Enter a virtual assistant; your secret business weapon.  Use them as you please, you choose their duties, and they simply do it.  No need to provide them with an office, equipment, annual leave, superannuation, or any other expense related to hiring an employee.  They already know what they are doing in the area you choose and after you spend a little time filling them in on your needs and background to your business, they are ready to go; now that’s what I call a real asset!

But a good virtual assistant goes beyond just the duties you delegate, they can become a confidant, someone that can draw on their experience to provide inspiration and advice on any range of topics.  And they may even become your personal assistant.  Sending thank you cards or flowers on your behalf, researching the perfect family holiday destination, or evening finding you a better deal on your car insurance!  Not all virtual assistants do all duties, but once you find one suited to you, you’ll never look back!
