08 Jan New Year, New Beginnings!

I have long felt like I had a foot in two businesses – virtual assistance and online business management. The work I do for my clients swing between both these roles but after lots of thinking, deliberating and procrastination (and quite a few “what the hell am I doing” moments), it’s time for me to put my biz where my mouth is and officially transition to online business management.  

Those that know me, know that I love organisation, getting stuff done and all things efficiency but now it’s time for me to step back from the doing side of these things and step in to the strategy and management role.

That’s not to say that Your Virtual Asset is no longer going to provide VA services, far from it!  You’ll still get the reliable administration and customer service experience that I’ve built my reputation on but also strategy calls, team and project management. I will be the “right hand woman” that you’ve been needing. The confidante, the sounding board and the one that ensures that all your biz wheels keep turning.

I am definitely more “left brained”, yet my fav clients are usually “right brain” type of people.  They are creative, imaginative, fun and down to Earth – all the qualities that bring out the best in my work. I love that I’m able to bring a different perspective to their business, all while respecting their creative processes. By having an OBM, they are able to concentrate on keeping their creative juices flowing, while I implement (non-scary) systems and manage their goals, team and daily tasks.

Your Virtual Asset has been slowly building a team of VAs behind the scenes for months now but I’m excited to ramp this up in 2018 and also have my behind the scenes people, step a little more into the limelight! By transitioning to online business management, I’m looking forward to delving deeper into my clients’ businesses, no longer hovering on the surface, simply completing tasks but analysing and strategising with my clients, putting actionable plans in place to help them achieve their biz goals.  It’s a new year, perfect timing for a new beginning!
