Top 3 Apps for Staying Organised

Have you ever wondered what are the best tools for staying organised? How do virtual assistants do it? They have multiple clients and different projects on the go at the same time, not to mention their own business to run and grow. Here I share my top 3 apps that keep my days running smoothly and my business organised.

Facebook Business Manager
Facebook would have to be the biggest time suck ever invented but unfortunately for businesses these days, it’s a necessary evil. I’m first to admit that I’m a Facebook junkie and I really can’t be trusted near my normal feed, so sticking to my Page keeps me focused and on task. I forward schedule all my posts directly to the page and check my analytics and messages. I can also access all the Pages I manage from the one spot (I look after my clients’ Pages too).

17Hats
Have you heard about 17Hats? I love it! I shout its praises every chance I get! Deciding to sign up to 17Hats was one of the first monetary investments I made in my business and I have no regrets. It is a CRM and project management system in one. It tracks my leads, organises my clients, projects and to do list, syncs with my emails and calendar, tracks time and even sends my invoices out. And did I mention it has a bookkeeping function too? I really do love this software and will do a post dedicated to it in the future.

Google Apps for Work
This is a favourite among many businesses both big and small that you won’t fully appreciate until you immerse yourself in it. I primarily use Gmail, Drive (Docs and Sheets) and Calendar. All are synced across to my phone so that I can access anything I need at any time. Gmail is one hell of a learning curve when initially moving over from Outlook but in time it will come second nature and you’ll wonder how you ever lived with Folders instead of Labels. Hands down, Google Apps provides the best tools for staying organised!

What are you favourite productivity apps and tools? Let me know and also leave a comment if you want any info on any of these. I can feel some tutorials coming on….
